Master & Dynamic is a New York City-based premium audio brand with a deep passion for building beautifully crafted, richly appointed, technically sophisticated sound tools for creative minds. The company's growing product line includes a wireless speaker, headphones, earphones and accessories.

We are seeking a smart, highly organized, analytical as well as creative, "get-your-hands-dirty" Social Media Specialist. This individual will have one finger on the pulse of trends in music, culture and style, and the other on the trigger in developing, executing and leading Master & Dynamic's social programs. 


  • Content: Write copy for social posts, blog series and other initiatives. 
  • Communities: Manage day-to-day social media communities (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and SoundCloud) and the blog, including writing, publishing, optimization, and responding to inquiries.
  • Strategy: Drive content strategy for social media efforts across the brand and marketing initiatives.
  • Execution: Develop and manage the execution of social marketing programs, campaigns, and launches across brand and product.
  • Growth: Grow the social media following and engagement, driving conversation, loyalty and affinity.
  • Analysis: Prepare monthly content analysis reports and weekly topline metrics reporting.
  • Trends: Live and breathe social and cultural trends, including emerging conversations, brands, relevant competition, platforms, tools, etc.
  • Collaboration: Partner with in-house Art Department and occasionally freelance writers to deliver on-brand assets tuned for social performance.
  • Social Leadership: Represent the voice of best practices and future trends in developing, monitoring, and implementing social media across ecomm, digital marketing, editorial, PR, and sponsorship initiatives.
  • Influencers: Lead the conversation and potential agency management on social influencers and social media services.
  • Paid: Advise on the execution of paid social media campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.


  • Come with Experience: 3-5 years in a social media specific role covering the above.
  • Be a Marketer: Possess knowledge and experience in traditional marketing. Degree in business or marketing is preferred but not required.
  • Be Content Obsessed: Proficient in content marketing theory and application. Experience with sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
  • Be Agile: Exhibit the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, and able to use data to support decisions. 
  • Know the Landscape: Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of all relevant Social Media platforms.
  • Write Well: Superior writing and language skills, especially blog and social copywriting.
